Biography

Hello there, I’m Marco CB, a Senior 3D Animator, Rigger and Generalist with 17 years experience across film, games, VR and television productions
After a long career, I still take pride in treating every new project as a passion piece, bringing energy, positivity and focus no matter the scale. I make a point of staying ahead of the animation pipeline, keeping up with essential trends, tools and software.
My background covers a wide range of clients, budgets and production environments, always delivering what is needed per project. I’ve also had the privilege of working on award-winning projects, including two BAFTA-winning productions.
Available for remote and studio work anywhere in London.

Artistic Competencies

  • Advanced character animation with a strong focus on biped performance, weight and camera work

  • Expert rig creation, including flexible, animator-friendly body and facial rigs

  • Full understanding of the 3D production pipeline from concept through to final delivery

  • High proficiency in Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter, Photoshop and Redshift

  • Extensive experience with motion capture cleanup, blending and polish

  • Strong digital sculpting skills supporting character and asset development

  • Real-time workflow experience for games and VR, including Unreal and Unity

  • Ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining quality

  • Proven problem-solving skills when resolving technical, artistic and pipeline challenges

  • Clear communication skills when responding to client and studio feedback

  • Traditional art background, including life drawing, storyboards and concept development
